On September 2020, during the celebration of Quadrat Shop’s 5th birthday, MayaaPlants will present its premiere collection. Our first collection is a tribute to sustainable design and plant decoration. All products are handmade with recycled and upcycled materials. The macrames are made out of 100% ecological cotton and natural jute. The plants exhibited at the event will be available on sale. They are propagated and selected by Maja, who hand-picked unique plants .


If you’re interested in purchasing a plant, we will have a special order list available for those who will like to support our growing business. You can customize their macrame order by choosing the pattern, type of cord, color, length, etc.


The collection is inspired by sustainable interior decoration. Sustainable décor means you're choosing an interior design that incorporates reused, recycled, or responsibly sourced items. We would like to promote natural ways of displaying at-home greenery and minimize green consumerism. By green consumerism we mean compulsive purchasing of plants that are treated with fertilizers, pesticides and other chemicals that are causing harm to the environment.


Exposed roots, transparent glass, natural materials and unconventional approach to plant decoration are the key ingredients of decorative designs by MayaaPlants. All this to bring your home closer to Nature.

Quadrat is a concept store focused on SUSTAINABLE MODERN POLISH FASHION. Designers offer various selection of fair fashion, design and art. Every designer at Quadrat Shop is carefully selected by its owner Zuzanna Orman. Her picks are mostly guided by environmental friendly brands, high-quality materials and unique look.

Aporeei - Clothes brand presented during the event !

Looking for free expression and amateur-like vibe in fashion, we make clothes that are modern and playfully skewed. It’s all about easy attitude, hence, we put together a wardrobe for those who look for experimental classics and alternative styles. Recurrent use of wavy shapes and sinuous cuts is intuitive and based on forms found in nature. Everything flows, so do our clothes. Each garment is cut in our studio in Poland and assembled either by myself or by one of independent seamstresses with whom we collaborate. Styles are produced in limited runs using locally sourced deadstock fabrics from archives, natural fibers, leftovers and vintage materials. We believe that honest and resilient design creates better lives for us and our planet. Aligning style with responsible production, we want to make sure our clothes become your true companion.

One of the macrames from our new collection has a special purpose.

Rainbow Macrame was created to support the LGBTQIA+ community in Poland that is currently struggling with discrimination. 50% of the income will be donated to an organisation fighting for LGBTQIA+ rights in Poland.

Why do we want to help?

We are conscious about the situation in Poland, because 2/3 of our MayaaPlants come from Poland and we are directly and indirectly affected by what is happening in Poland today. We are a small company, but we want to show our support by spreading the awareness and supporting the activists with a small monetary fund. The Rainbow Macrame is a non-profit project that was suggested by one of the team members, who is also a queer activist. 50% of the income will be transferred to…, the rest will be invested in the production of more Rainbow Macrames.



Our special event will begin with a macrame workshop. You will have the chance to spend 90 minutes creating a very special plant hanger. During the workshop all participants will be introduced to the art of making a macrame. Join us and to learn the techniques and uses of handmade plant hangers. Come and relax while creating an individual macrame and sipping some wine with other sustainable design lovers. Get the opportunity to develop new creative skills and make a unique decoration for your interior. All materials are included in the price of the workshop ticket. You can upgrade it by purchasing a ticket that includes a water plant in a glass vase.


THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS IS LIMITED. THE WORKSHOP WILL BE IN ENGLISH.

We want to provide equal amount of instructions to all participants. Your safety is also very important to us, therefore we can only host 12 people at the workshop, so we can all keep distance and enjoy each others company.
