My name is Maria, but I have been called Maja for many years now. I am an independent floral decoration designer and an enthusiast of beautifying interiors with sustainable greenery. I design plant installations, shop displays, urban and indoor jungle for individual clients and companies alike. I create interior plant decoration for private apartments, offices, gastronomic establishments, and make original and unique table sets for business events and weddings. In my private life, I am a plant collector and aspiring minimalist I want to create for people who care about the environment. Over the past seven years, I was working as a professional ballet dancer but my passion for plants was growing along. Leaving the stage transfer my love for art from body movement to plants. From there, these adventures involved some steeps, learning curves, joyous moments, and realizations on how to navigate well through artwork and presentation. My creativity now finds its channel through dance movement experience on plants and eco-friendly creations. I love industrial design and minimalistic shapes embodied by plants. I find the gifts of the forest as well as the independence that lies in nature incredibly inspiring. I enjoy using transparent glass and natural materials using their primary forms. I am not a floral trendsetter nor a follower of fashionable arrangements. I am fascinated by unusual projects where greenery and nature are not mere additions filling out an interior, but play a significant aesthetic role and provide a feeling of comfort with respect for Mother Nature.
